I did a lot of prints for boys’ products at Smiggle, with cars and trucks being a popular theme to revisit. Below are a couple of the best-performing designs I developed.
ICON ILLUSTRATIONS • These simple, colourful graphics were created for a younger boys' range of product.
REPEAT YARDAGE DESIGN • I added secondary elements including road signs and traffic cones to fill gaps in the pattern.
PRODUCTS • This repeat was designed for Smiggle's Junior range of products.
ICON ILLUSTRATIONS • Based on the success of the above repeat, I was charged with doing the same thing again... but different! Adding an isometric angle to the car graphics gave the theme a new spin.
REPEAT YARDAGE DESIGN • I drew a few other types of vehicle including police cars and school busses.
PRODUCTS • This repeat was also featured on the Junior range.
